Last Thursday, October 2nd 2014, was Batik Day. The staffs at my office were encouraged to wear Batik outfit on that day. So I just want to show you how I styled my Batik outfit to work, through this blog post. =]
I paired my Batik shirt with a white satin skirt to create a feminine look. My Batik shirt itself doesn't actually look exactly the same as the picture above. I bought my Batik shirt in a set with its belt and it looked like this.
I thought that this shirt wouldn't look appealing if I wore it as it was. I felt like I was challenged to make it look different. ^^ So this is what I came up with.
You can get a Batik shirt like what I was wearing at ITC Ambassador. The shops there sells many kinds of Batik, from traditional patterned Batik to modern one. I also bought the skirt at ITC Ambassador for IDR 200,000 (around USD 17).
