Merry Christmas 2014 & Happy New Year 2015!
I'm currently enjoying my year end holiday despite not traveling out of town. I went to several places in the city with friends. One of those places was Central Park, the shooting location on this post. The park was beautiful with many light decorations and shows at night. Here we could enjoy our time with family or friends at one of the restaurant or cafe. I would recommend this place as one of the nicest hangout place for everyone!
Back to topic, today's theme is classic outfit for new year's party. A lot of bloggers suggest glamorous look with blinking details for new year's, but I love to look different! Instead of wearing sequin dress or sparkling top or skirt, I go for classic monochrome look mixed with gold accessories. I wear gold to enhance the look a bit so I don't look totally bland for a party.
Inspired by Girl's Day look during their "I Miss You" concert (see the look here or here), I decided to wear faux leather mini flare skirt from Stradivarius. And just like the girls in the concert, I wore white turtle neck which was bought from some store quite a long time ago. As usual, since I forgot the store name I will provide link to similar item at the end of this post. The skirt is available at the store though it isn't on the web. Here's similar item at Pull & Bear with 20% off!
What I like from this style is I could look classic and girly. I love how the flared mini skirt emphasizes on cute look while the gold necklace and shoes create "accent" to the overall style. Currently the shoes are 30% off at Stradivarius!
In my opinion, these gold shoes from Stradivarius are beautiful, but I don't recommend wearing it for a long walk because it will hurt after a while. I don't know, maybe the shoes could be comfortable to wear depending on the feet shape. More photos of the venue and outfit below!

What style will you wear on new year's party? Will you wear glamorous, classic, edgy, or will you cross-dress? Haha... Just kidding. I hope everyone enjoy their year end holiday! See you on the next post~
Love,
Novi
