Since I bought this Tricot Cape from Stradivarius last week, I've been waiting to wear and style with it, then post to my blog and Instagram. Because of its neutral color, this cape is easy to style with. Stradivarius also sells other neutral colors of this Tricot Cape such as navy blue, beige, pale caramel, and grey for a totally affordable price. Remember my tips again when choosing what Tricot Cape color to buy on my previous post!^^
As the weather is getting colder (in here too! >_<), I start wearing more outerwear like cardigan, sweater, sweatshirt, and so on. Stradivarius Tricot Cape is one of the kind. I love the cape so much that I wear it quite often to work and for hangout. Warm and cozy are just the perfect words to describe this cape.
To complete my look while staying warm, I paired the cape with long sleeves blouse with diamond pattern, and three quarter pants. I wear jeans and trousers often that I get bored with it already, so I'm trying out another alternative like wearing these three quarter pants. I bought the pants a long time ago. It's from local brand and I have already forgotten what the brand is (i'm sorry >_<).
But here's a little trick. We can always roll up our skinny trousers to achieve 7/8 or 3/4 look. As simple as that. Here is one example of trousers which we can roll up to 7/8, by H&M. These trousers are on sale. I just bought the green color.
Below photos are the complete look.
Black Tricot Cape: Stradivarius | Diamond Patterned Blouse: local brand
Pink Black Polka Watch: Kate Spade | Trousers: local brand
Black Structured Bag: Charles & Keith | Strap Heels: Stradivarius
By the way, Stradivarius strap heels which I'm wearing on the photo are on sale. Hurry and grab it while it's still available!
Lastly, we can also create another look with the same concept. We can pair the Tricot Cape with a long sleeves patterned t-shirt or shirt, or with a plaid. Add a scarf to keep warm, then wear with trousers and heels or boots. Ready to style?
XoXo,
Novi
